KKHH re-release, DTPH re-release and K3G all are YRF DVDs (not EROS), all 3 are Anamorphic, Progressive, DD 5.1.

French version of these 3 DVDs if Diaphana Devdas (PAL, R2, 4% speed shifted) quality or better, then they might be only slightly better, at best, than their YRF counterparts.

Diaphana Devdas sure was a lot better than EROS Devdas as EROS Devdas was EROS standard.

It's defo Aan - the picture is of Nimmi and her name in Aan is Mangala.

I think that some web-site will review these DVDs once it is released. I'm hoping that if they are half decent then maybe ... just maybe we might get a good release of some Guru Dutt movies!

Hi Zulmies,
Are the french versions of the dvds have dialogues in french languages or its just that the subtitles only are in french.
Secondly, are the subtitles removable or they just stick to the dvds as some baba old movies :x .

"Le fils" mean son. "Fille" means something like "girl". I guess it's AAN. I haven't seen the film AAN so I don't understand why they would call the film MANGALA, when the important roles are being acted by Dilip Kumar en Nadira. :o

The picture is from Aan ... I just googled the French title (Mangala: Fille Des Indes) and there were loads of hits from French DVD web-sites and the original title of the movie is listed as Aan.
