a bit of background.
i've started watching bollywood films from the mid to late 1960s to early 1980s on DVD. Some of these I havent seen since I was kid. My interest in Bollywood are most during this era - the storylines, songs and the fashions are classic.
following are some that i have in mind to buy from nehaflix - since they are having one of their (ahem weekly) sales.
Ajnabee (Rajesh Khanna) DVD
Alibaba Aur 40 Chor (Dharmendra) DVD
Blackmail (Dharmendra) DVD
Bullet DVD
Disco Dancer DVD
Hare Rama Hare Krishna DVD
Hawas (Anil Dhawan) DVD
Jaadugar DVD
Kismat (Mithun) DVD
Maha Badmash DVD
Night In London DVD
Raaja (Rishi Kapoor) DVD
Saajan Ki Saheli DVD
Rocky DVD
Having only read brief synopses of these films or seen some scenes in coming attractions on other DVDs, do you guys think they are any good and do they fit into my requirements of what i consider a "good" old school Bollywood film? And yes, my tastes do range into the "campy" and "kitsch" sometimes.
I also welcome suggestions for other films of this type that y'all might recommend.
