Hello I just came back from a trip to Hamburg, Germany. I bought over 200 dvd movies..3 in one movies...all of 1 dollar each and all in crisp quality.

For example i have one called Amitabh Collection with Khakee(EROS)/K3G(Yash Raj)/Aietbaar(Venus?) on one dvd...

has anyone ever seen this? its amazing.

It bought a few 2in1 recently and they worked on my DVD Player without any problems. But my 3in1 of MUNNA BHAI, MUSKAAN and PYAASA is not being recognised by my DVD Player... I decided not to be too greedy and stick with 2in1 for now....

:)

One Euro - now that is cheap.... In London they are going for about £3 per DVD (with 2+ films).... Makes you wonder how they make profit with a DVD sold for 1 Euro, surely even a blank disc cost more than that!! No wonder you bought hundreds.... I just hope they dont rot in weeks to come... Mind you, the original seems to rot just as well....

They will depending on the quality of the disc used, just give them time.

Did he maintain all orignal menus? If so do you know he did it if he did the burning infront of you? Now that would be news and really helpful for some of us to know.

Oops. You forgot the possibility of letterboxed widescreen films, top half of screen containing one film, bottom half the second film, block off half screen and select channel A or B for audio ). This makes 24in1. LOL

A few of the Indian stores in my area are carryin these 2-in-1, 3-in-1 dvds now but I haveta say I'm not sure if I should get them.. Isn't the picture gonna suffer A LOT tryin to compress so many movies on one disc?? As if Hindi DVDs aren't bad already!

What's been people's experiences wit these? Worth gettin, even if rentals?

Well for sure the pq suffers but some of the 2in1s that are done properly (which there are not alot of) actually have good pq. If you do a search here on Zulm.net I posted shots of Kasoor/Raaz combo. Also it depends on the type of tv you will be viewing it on. People here tend to view their DVDs on tvs ranging from 27inch upto 100 inch screens. The smaller the screen the less distortion in pq, if the tv is larger than you wont be watching the movie but a pixelation (digital squares) show. Another reason and probably the main reason alot tend to buy 2in1s etc is that the media (disc) is of better quality. Some original DVDs are made on rather pathetic media and the disc dies out after some time (disc rot). Its really, in the end, upto you and if you get a chance to rent a 2in1 try it and see for yourself, otherwise they are pretty cheap to buy and also users, like myself, tend to post shots from 2in1 DVDs so try searching. Hope that helps :D :) :D

Some links to shots posted here on Zulm:

Kasoor/Raaz

Jaani Dushman

Munna Bhai MBBS/Pinjar

Sirf Tum/Mann

Khiladi/Sabse Bada Khiladi

Thanx urbanlegend for the info... I knew a lot of that myself (I'm a techie kinda girl, at least when it comes to TVs/films/dvds) and our main TV is a 36" Sony HDTV, which is one reason poorly-encoded discs look even worse on it lol. My first copy of DCH died of disc rot :( so I know that very well, unfortunately. Bought a 2nd copy (different version, but 2-disc like the original) tho and that's worked nicely. :) Glad to hear the 2-in-1's are on better media... I think I'll check em out now :)
