Your right Arsh ... Alaap DEI Preview

This BEI DVD is just a rehash of the original DEI DVD.

ALAAP is a Hrishikesh Mukherjee film so there must be something right about this movie! :)

Personally, I found it boring, Amitabh is sick throughout the film, Rekha is as ugly as ever, and the songs are rather too classical for my taste....

The print is excellent, and my copy has not frozen yet!

Gotta agree, Armaan. I like HM, but this was a boring film. But nobody can hit home runs every time.

Probably 50/50 Arsh, excellent print combined with top actors (including Sanjeev Kumar) and director on the plus side, and slow, boring story and below average songs on the minus side. Maybe worth seeing just for Bachchan and Rekha and the excellent print....
