Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta and Gracy Singh will head the cast of Dinesh Gandhi's new venture, which is written-directed by Honey Irani. Honey, one of the best writers in Bollywood, has turned director with this film. Javed Akhtar is writing the dialogues of this flick, which was launched on February 27 with a song recording in Mumbai. Tuned by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the first song was rendered by Alka Yagnik and Shankar Mahadevan.

Jatin Kumar, the son of veteran actor and producer Sujit Kumar, is all set to launch his debut film AITBAAR as producer. And guess who he's roped in for the cast… Amitabh Bachchan (who co-incidentally happens to be his Juhu neighbour too) along with John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Vikram Bhatt is directing this flick.

Shah Rukh Khan will head the cast of Vinod Chopra's MUNNABHAI MBBS, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film was launched on February 27 with the recording of the title song in Mumbai. Incidentally, Vinod Chopra and Anu Maliik are coming together after KAREEB (Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were the music composers of MISSION KASHMIR). Vir and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are the creative producers of this enterprise.

The release date of Hrithik Roshan’s next release, AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE, has been shifted again. The film was supposed to release on April 5, clashing with AANKHEN in the process. Later, the release was preponed to March 29, but has now been shifted to April 12. The change in the release date has been attributed to the non-availability of theatres during the holiday period. “We were not getting a proper chain earlier, hence the postponement,” producer Rohit Kumar tells me.

Incidentally, the first promo of yet another Hrithik starrer, NA TUM JAANO NA HUM, is already on air and it has been well received by viewers. N.T.J.N.H. marks the debut of actor Arjun Sablok as director
