i'm new here.

i purchased Mohabbatein today and i was searching through chapters just to check out the picture quality when i came across a problem on the disc.

on chapter 5,15 mins into the film a guy shouts to a woman,as he runs toward her there is a slight pause and the picture breaks up a little.i have tried it on 2 players and it happens in the same place,does anyone else have this problem?is it a pressing error affecting all dvds or did i just get unlucky?

deja vu... Mohabbatein suffers from faults... it is the single most problem disc that has ever hit the bollywood market... even the quality DVD players have trouble playing it...!! live with ....

sorry but im not going to keep a disc that has 12 seperate faults during the movie,i checked my disc compared to the times listed on a previous thread,it matches up.apparently the distributer know of this problem and have sent out new pressings so i guess ill exchange or wait for a new batch to arrive.

i dont think the distributers did ever release a "new batch" i think its all codswollop!! my sister recently bought it from HMV and it had the same problems... so looks as though these discs have the same problems!!

hmmm,i have been told though in another forum that play.com are selling the new batch

my mistake,play.com isn't a certainty,just that some online stores are selling it.
i use the bullets n babes dvd forum

i cant confirm which stores more to the point if its true as theyd have to open the packaging to find out.i have e mailed yashraj films about the problem and have asked should the next copy i get be faulty,can i order a good copy straight from them,i think they should replace all bought copies with new ones.im waiting for a new copy to come in from HMV then i'll see.i hope yashraj have the decency to reply and explain the situation because i just cant watch this film without being annoyed by its problems

how does a problem like this go un-noticed during authoring?
do they not play test the discs afterwards before sending them out?neglect on the distributors behalf.i would find it hard to believe that even if they knew about it before hand they would not send them out,i'm sure everyone who purchased this dvd had returned it.
