I am new here. I am glad to have at last found a forum to discuss Indian DVDs.

I went to India last November and December and saw "Kal Ho Naa Ho" in Jaipur and brought back the DVD "Baghban" (Shemaroo). The quality of that DVD is excellent and it has English subtitles.

I was amazed to know that Indian DVDs are region-free.

Anyway, I would like to know more about the best-looking DVDs out there. A crystal-clear picture is what I want, preferably widescreen with 16:9 aspect ratio.

I already own "Kal Ho Naa Ho" 2-DVD set that looks very good. Also "Mohabbatein", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and "Dil Se" have very nice video quality.

Please tell me which DVDs are worth owning... (English subtitles only because I don't understand Hindi)

I am also interested in knowing about the best classic movies on DVD.
