Wedded Bliss? - A Synopsis (http://www.nrifilms.com/weddedbliss)
A person steps into marriage with a lot of expectations. Two people who are in love often dream about a wedded life full of bliss and romance. They carefully plan their wedding, their honeymoon and every day of their life to follow. However, expectations are often different from reality. The first year or so after marriage is often called the honeymoon period. Nevertheless, many couples experience a time of adjustments - often complicated by many misunderstandings.

Wedded Bliss? follows the story of a young couple that goes through this process. Raj and Niki's marriage brings together many people from both sides of the family - sometimes leading to miscommunication. The newly married couple carries the burden of this miscommunication into their wedded life - but face a tough path to reconciliation. Their inability to make amends separates them in mind and body. They slowly realize that sometimes, love doesn't conquer all.

As they try to move on with their life, they find themselves in situations where every decision they make, is critical.

An NRI Films Production. Written and Directed by Devashish Saxena.

Even though I know the filmmakers, I think this is one of the better Indian-American films I've seen.

LOL, it sort of does, and the director is a fan of Alai Payuthey. I don't know if he saw it before writing the script.
