Any info about the dvd qualities for the following Raj Kumar movies will be greatly appreciated:

1. Bulandi (1981)
2. Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai (1960)
3. Dil Ek Mandir (1963)
4. Jungbaaz (1989)
5. Karm Yogi (1978)
6. Marte Dam Tak (1987) - Other than Eros DVD
7. Paighaam (1959)
8. Police Public (1990)
9. Tirangaa (1993)

Yesterday, I rented Marte Dam Tak (Eros DVD) and my comment is : It's better to watch a VHS than this Eros DVD.

I don't think Karmayogi (1978) is currently available on DVD. I have the Sky version of Dil Apna Preet Parai (1960) and can send screenshots if you prefer, but Sky DVDs are prone to DVD Rot.

Thanks Armaan.
Please send the screenshots of Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai.

Anyway, I might make a copy instead of buying a dvd if picture quality is ok.

Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayee print is very very sharp, pleasing to the eyes. However, audio is not consistently clear throughout.

Bulandi is released by DML (Digital Multimedia Limited) which is bound to be in very very poor transfer; worse than VHS. Dil Ek Mandir is released by ULTRA (http://www.ultraindia.com) which is also going to be poor quality print. Police Public is by Eros.. and there dvd prints varies from good to trash. Paigam is by Video Sound.. i have yet to see a video sound dvd where an old movie is in good transfer. Tirangaa is by WEG (Worldwide Entertainment Group), there print is almost always average; in other word slightly better than vhs at best.
