For the first time ever, an Indian city will be featured on TV5's 24Hrs...! TV5, the only worldwide public French speaking television channel which profiles four prominent cities of the world every year on its prime show, 24 Hrs -- has chosen Mumbai to be featured on its most widely watched show across the USA, UK, Africa and Asia. TV5 is the second largest international television network in the world (ranked second only to MTV, much above all other networks including CNN International), and is broadcast in more than 180 countries, reaching more than 145 million households
The French channel will also be telecasting Satish Kaushik's film My Heart Belongs To You (Hamara Dil Aapke Pas Hai) starring Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor on Sunday 21st December at 10.30 PM IST.
Tilted '24 Hours in the Life of Mumbai' the content for the original concept show will be shot extensively in and around Mumbai, and will be produced in French with English subtitles. The show duration will be for 24 hours beginning 3:30 PM Saturday December 20 though to 3:30 PM Sunday, December 21,2003 across all the countries of the TV5 world network which includes Europe, USA, Africa and Asia. Mumbai joins the ranks of New York, Cairo, Jakarta and Amsterdam amongst other prominent global cities, to be featured on the programme. It's the only show of its kind in the world to run for 24 hours with the objective of actually transform the viewers around the globe to the city featured.
