I have bought ittefaq (2001) by Sunil shetty and Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachaao (2001) from Indiaweekly ,but they both freezes at the end of the movie. I can only watch 90% of the movie. I want to know why some original dvd bought from USA always freezes at the near end of the movie, can soemone help.

That sure is a disgrace to Indian Standard merchandise.

You are lucky that you reached 90%. Wait a few weeks and you won't be able to go beyond 50 - 60 % as the disc rots further.

It's a common problem, mostly in Indian DVDs and sometimes in Hollywood DVDs as well. This problem has been discussed in many threads in innumerable number of posts.

Mostly, it's the Double Layer pressed discs that rot away and the laser can't reach the second layer.

I stopped buying from India Weekly years ago. Most of there disks freeze and some may not agree but they really do sell used disks.
