Hey All

I was wondering if anyone knows if Pukar was ever released on DVD or VCD and if it's available from anywhere at the moment. Have this movie on a Pal VHS but wanted to try to get it on DVD if possible.

It's the 1939 b/w movie (not the Amitabh movie.)

there's a pukar by sorab modi as well, which i think he remade too...

That's the same one as my query. Sohrab Modi directed and starred in this 1939 version of Pukar (Kamal Amrohi wrote the dialogues) and the lead players were Naseem Bano (Saira Bano's mum) and Chandra Mohon. I do not think that he re-made this.

Any chance you may have seen this on VCD in India?

nupuraudio (nupur audio) may have released the dvd / vcd. need to check.

Nupur has done Kundan and Jhansi Ki Rani as well... (note that the Nupur dvd of jhansi ki rani is black&white)
