Urbanlegend did the alternative cover for DDLJ and many people have complained about poor quality of covers generally on Indian DVDs (not to mention faddy's dodgy dvd retailers!! thread). It’ll be a good idea for someone to start a website dedicated to alternative Indian DVD covers. With cheap inkjet printers getting near photo quality printing – it’s make a top site.

I would definetly like to make a site with alternative covers but it takes a lot of time and effort to make something like that. One cover may take a good 2-3 days (DDLJ) because of normal work and other things. I am going to try but not promise anything.

Instead of one person making a website, why doesn't everyone chip in and make covers, Ali u can put another section in for covers.

It'll be easier and it makes more sense!!
wat do y'all think?

that's a cool idea - but I agree that maybe it should be a sub-section of Zulm

I am with you, I will be more than happy to design some covers and I believe others will as well. We can all chip in.

i've got an idea...rahisha is building the "Indian DVD Guru" webiste, and it's pretty up fifnished... we could add an "alternative DVD covers" section to that site

that way we don't have to worry about making the site, just making good DVD covers

I think a separate site would be much better than a subsection. That way, people would get there quicker, and would get more recognition.
