I'm gonna be going on Holiday to Pakistan soon and want to know good places to buy decent DVDs. Do you know any places in Faisalabad? I'm familiar with the D-Ground (it's near where I'll be staying)

Thank You

However, D-Ground is well known for movies and shit.. i take it u live in Peoples Kalooney!! :D However, if that fails, there is a road that leads off from the Clock tower in the centre.. there are litterally 100s of shops that sell DVD/Vidoes there... just shop about!! hey if u live in UK, wud u mind getting some PTV dramas on VHS for us!!

Holy Moly.
You're from People Colony TOO!!! Never seem to find DVDs at all in Faisalabad. Just shitty VCDs. My mum went last year and I asked her to bring a whole load of AB movies. They were 2 disc VCds with about an hour of footage missing.

Places I know are D-Ground, Jaal, Gurunank Pura and Medina Town.

I might even go to Karachi and Lahore.

Just want to know places that would have DEI/BEI dvds.

Let me know what Dramas you want. Where abouts you live? England or Scotland?

if u get a chance to go to Karachi check out the RAINBOW CENTRE there are many shops that do dvds...the best thing is they have players to play them on so u can check the quality before u buy...my advice to u would be to ask them to skip to the last 2 chapters if they work fine without freezing then they are ok mind u it all depends on ur dvd player !!

happy hunting :bash: :bash: :bash:

Well to tell u the truth Koolie, Im from Partap Nagar, which is near Jhang Road.. however, we do have relatives in Gurnanak Pura and Peoples Colony!! Its good seeing a fellow zulmi from Faislabad

Anyway, DVDs are very common nowadays in pakistan, u shud be able to pick em up anywhere!! However, be very careful when purchasing them.. they are normally pressed on shitty quality media and can cause skipping etc... ive got hundreds of discs from Pakistan but some are just unplayable... Just check em before buying them!! If u go Lahore, go to Haall Road.. u can get anything and everything there!!

If u r bringing back a stash of DVDs back, just be prepared to pay the customs to "baksheesh" otherwise u wont ever get the discs out of pakistan!! :p

As for some paki dramas, there are a couple I want.. and i`d prefer them on VHS if possible.. when will u be going.. i`ll give u a list

Ok cool.

I'll just need to dig deep and find if people can understand me.

I'm going around the end of november/start of December.

If I did bring stuff back it I would put it in me suitcase. They don't normally check that.
