Hi The disc doctor does not work it just makes more scratches on your dvd of cd, what it does is sand off or grate of the surface of your dvd. I think it makes it worse.

I had a planet of the apes dvd there were some minor scratches and some hard to get off fingerprints it was sticking at certain intervals. When i used the Dr. on the disc it took of the audio from the disc. An it was still sticking. Luckily i returned the disc Dr to the store and was refunded.
but my Planet Of the aPES DVD was Gone.
