Could anyone provide screenshots of the SHEMAROO version? I absolutely LOVED the movie when I watched it on YASHRAJ DVD, but that was of a VERY BAD quality!

video is dark, and very soft.. audio is ok respecting the age of the film. i remembering seeing shots from the yashraj version, shemaroo version is much better than that. yashraj version was much darker and blurry.

Apparantly there is yet another version. A One Entertainment (or Entertainment One) version:

Could anyone provide screenshots to compare? :)

Shemaroo Devdas repeats a scene... I do not remember exactly which one, but Dilip Kumar is in train...

Are you jumping from dilip's Devdas to Ashwaria's Paro.
You can start a new thread if you so desire.

I think he's referring to the green color in the Entertainment One DVD. :-P

Bimal Roy movies are being restored by a company in Pune.

Take a look at the songs uploaded by 'Filmi Gaane' : - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... 1955+songs

They seem remastered...

Can;t wait for the Blu Ray release
