Tips , Venus &Time Join Hands , Mukta-Adlabs Apprehensive

Three music companies Tips ,Venus and Times have joined hands .No not to acquire music rights of films , but to introduce digital projection systems in cinemas at small centres .
Like Mukta-Adlabs , the three audio companies have also jumped into the digital projection bandwagon , but the system that the music barons are contemplating introducing in the cinemas is quite different from that being installed by Mukta-Adlabs .
Under the technology imported by Mukta-Adlabs , the film is encoded on a hard disc which is sent to the cinemas . On the other hand the the audio companies plan to send specially encoded DVD´s to the cinemas which will be installed with DVD players.
Reacting to the system being introduced by the three audio companies , Dr. Sunil Patil , CEO of Mukta-Adlabs Digital Exhibition Ltd. , said that it would only encourage piracy as counterfeit DVD´s would also find their way into such cinemas fitted with DVD players.
