To all those in the know about tamil movies, I have a question.

During the flashback, when Inder agrees to marry Tiruchilvan (when they hug), there's an amazing song that comes on.
Does anyone know the name of that song?

And... can someone tell me the gist of the songs kannathil muthammital and sundari...

excuse the ignorance, but i don't know a word of tamil.

that helps alot, except for the fact that I don't know where
the song "Sarhuru En then nejam" is from. A search for it turned up nothing, and it's not on the soundtrack.

The song is avalible on CD as Ramiy have released a new version of the soundtrack with this addtional song along with two similar instumental scores (The score heard during the final war scene & when the little girls appear with the guns)

I've always liked some of the incidental music by Rahman, but haven't been able to find it on CD. Does Ramiy usually include additional songs on their CDs?

Tamil CD's releases are a bit wacky. Since a cd consists of two or three film albums on one disc, they sometimes omit songs and incidental music so that they can fit the "chart/favoured" songs for better sales.

Don't know if any on-line stores are selling it although it would be a hard disc to find as it is only meant for EUROPE sales, as RAIMY only owns EUROPE rights while TIPS own rest of the WORLD.

This is a question for Shahran Sunny Audit. Do you know if another DVD of Kannathil Muthamittal will be released with subtitles for the songs? I recently saw the movie and absolutely loved it. I was really curious about the lyrics for the "Oru Deivam" songs. I found the translation on the internet but it is not the same as understanding when you watch the movie.

Thanks.

I think Sunny has said that Kannathil Muthamittal will be re-released in progressive and DTS(?) by Ayngaran. At least that's the impressions I got... so I'm waiting, especially for the subtitles.

If anyone has this cd, it would be nice to get the mp3s of the additional songs (since I can't go to Europe). I do own the original Kannathil Muthamital and absolutely love it.

If you are in the US and looking for Ramiy CDs, go look for them in local stores. I've seen in three or four stores near me several Ramiy CDs. I couldn't find Alai Payuthey or Kannathil Muthamittal in those stores, but maybe I'll find them in the ones 30 minutes away. All I can find in the stores nearest to me are copies of Ramiy's CD of Baba!

Hi!

I just discovered this site and this forum, this is an older question, about the lyrics to the title song. I am a student of Tamil and here is a website where you can find lyrics translated into English:

http://www.geocities.com/subashworld/

unfortunately this site ahs been shut down but there is a lot of good info still here.
