Ali, Think abt this
We all have ZEE_Cine awars, Screen awards, Filmfare awards... How abt we at Zulm certify the best DVD that was released last year. Folks can choose from a variety of selection criterion (Content, authoring, etc.)...and that can be publicized on the main page... Maybe a full review of that DVD can also be done ( if it hasnt been done )....

What say you ?

i suggested something similar to ali but it appears he is in love with his suvey poll - he has had this since god knows when - ali how abouts a change???

Taking everything into account:
Video Quality
Sound Quality
Extra features
Professional Touches (menus, etc.)

As well as an individual winner for each category.
Mine would be:
Video Quality: Lagaan
Sound Quality: Lagaan
Extra Features: Mohabbatein
Professional Touches: Dil Chahta Hai or Mohabbatein
Overall: Lagaan (as bad as people say it is)

Come on you guts are not serious. In my opinion, you reward someone for a job well done. To offer a prize to these cheapskates is resigning or hope in ever getting a quality DVD
befitting our hard earned cash.

I think the award (if any) should go between LAGAAN / DIL CHAHTA HAI !!!!!!!!!!



in my sony dvd player, it didn't give me problem viewing the dvd. buy sony dvd player; none other, not even samsung :DD:

What do you mean by, 'not even samsung'. My advice is, and this is good advice, NEVER and I mean NEVER buy anything from Samsung. They make some of the crappiest stuff there is.

I thought the DVD of Dil Chatha Hai was quite bad. Too much compression artefacts, and colour bleeding. I also think CT messed up Laggan as they do with ALL of thier foriegn titles, just look at OUTIC 1/2 & 3!.

My survey poll is lovely and gorgeous :love: - and big, big.. errr numbers on it - how can anyone not love it :p

..but still I'LL disown it as long as someone can come up with a decent poll - ideas?

As for awards - I'll go with captainamerica. It's a complete waste of time - in the past year theres been handful of decent quality DVDs and even those will probably have flaws! I liked my muppet awards better :baaa:
