Netflix seems to have some newer titles like Leela, American Desi but as you may have guessed it, they're Cinebella titles.
I've been a member for a while and rented some hindi movies...older titles are mostly either from Baba, Bombino or some other trashy companies. For example, they have the dvd of Aandhi out by some other company other than DEi.
Maybe the issue with Netflix and indian dvds movies are that there are so many versions out there (some of which are illegal). Other factors...bad pq, disc rot, unplayable dvds...etc...customer complaints... not to mention so many releases to keep up with.
If you want to rent newer titles, I would suggest trying GreenCine http://www.greencine.com ...netflix like service but with a lot more variety of genres. I tried it once and rented titles like Devdas (2002). K3G, KKHH etc.
