I'm surprised that no one has reviewed "Koi Hai..." just yet. It is actually a good film, almost a Bollywood film noir if you can believe that. I was intrigued initially because of the promos with the big dude dancing (the sequence in the movie is even better...that guy can move). But the main story is what works: an adulterous man hires someone to kill his wife so that she won't be able to take him for his money. But as the film unfolds we see that the situation is more complicated than that. There's one great sequence where several characters in the dark (lots of shadow and tight cutting...with sudden piercing gunfire) are wondering who will kill each other. The film isn't a classic (it's cheesy and B-movie-ish) but in my opinion it's better than other recent Bollywood films (Qayamat, Jaal, et al.). It's also only an hour 42 minutes long which is great b/c it gets to the point quickly. You guys should give it a whirl. I may be out of my mind but I really was surprised b/c I thought it was going to be a clunker. Can someone post screenshots from the Spark DVD? Thanks.
