BEI,s PARVARISH...Did some one view the entire film,? there are quite a few AUDIO DROP OUTS and SCREEN goes BLACK, momentarily too?

DEI..JADUGAR...DVD is CROPPED, from its OAR!! from BOTH SIDES? But still, to, me, it LOOKS SQUISHED PICTURE/VIDEO Too..e.g AMRISH PURI's EAR RINGS are OVAL, not ROUND, etc etc..Any one? comments Welcome?

PQ, of JADUGAR is DECENt with a LOT OF GRAIN!! PICTURE GETS, BLURRED at times!! for BRIEF PERIOD!!

BUT overall COLOR FIDELITY is PRETTY GOOD, IMHO..

I wish, DEI/BEI would RE RELEASE all of their WS CROPPED DVDS, with OAR/ANAMORPHIC!!

Movie like JADUGAR, will benefit a LOT!! :baaa: :oo:

Jaadugar was such a piece of rotting garbage on a summer day....with the flies even rejecting this garbage. 1989 was a terrible year for Amitabh Bachchan....'classics' like Toofan, Jaadugar, and Ganga Jumuna Saraswati would make even the biggest Big B fan cringe.

Jaadugar and GJS were crap period. GJS came in 1988 and Jaadugar in 1989. They were horrible films in which the stories it seemed were conceived ON THE SETS...they had Amitabh and thats all they needed they thought.

HOWEVER Toofan was WHY AB had to take a break fast. Toofan is a perfect example of a movie which would have worked in the early 80s and just didn't work in 1989. It had all the ingrediants of a typical Desai flick and was directed by Ketan Desai, his son, but was way way behind the times. The story of lost twins and family revenge and miracles (were'nt even temple scenes thrown in for 'completeness') was what the audience lapped up late 70s after Amar Akbar Anthony and early eighties but wouldn't even give a second glance in 1989. The very definition of an anachronism, that's what Toofan was.

AB, looked like a FAT HEJDA in those films!!

But my question was VIDEO, is CROPPED and SQUASHED too?
