ISHQ was a HIT too, Indra Kumar film, had GOOD MUSIC, DIL, music was super hit!!

Performances of both the stars were EXCELLENT!! Magic together worked!!

Yuppies..LOVED it, concept of REBALIOUS LOVERS..Trend continued, successfully..college campus romance..

It was not classic, but fun to watch, a lot repeat value, along with ISHQ( i wish, Aamir/Kajol, would be paired together again)

Indra's Raja was Hit too, GOOD music by N-S and VERY GOOD performance by Madhuri and Paresh Rawal..I think, only Hit Sanjay kapoor had in his carear..

From MANN...Indra Kumar LOST IT!! No madhuri, Formula did not work..Aamir again, had sincerely, good performance , and music was good..I liked it, Manisha kinda screwed it, Film was Too lengthy, to keep viewers interested!! HDDCS was playing parallel..

Now, Indra Kumar, switched his cast, resulting, AASHIQ/RISHTEY, both bAD FILMS!!

According to B4U.com on May 15th they reported the following:

Ever since he made Rishtey, director Indra Kumar seems to have lost his magic touch. He hasn't had a single hit since Ishq. The downslide began with Mann and hasn't stopped since then. But that may change now. Indra Kumar is to wield the megaphone once again. The film promises to be an out and out comedy. Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been zeroed in to play the lead in the film. Ajay it seems is pretty excited about this one because it gives him opportunity to show his penchant for doing comic roles.

As far as I remember, I've hated Indra kumar films from the first time I ever saw one. What magic touch? Knowing that the Indian audience is a sucker for crass entertainment is not my idea of magic touch. The truth is that crass, cheap entertainment almost always works, in almost any society. It is the artist's responsibilty not to exploit his/her position over the audience to reach his/her ends through unethical means, such as stupidity, violence, titillation or saccharine melodrama.

But MIyan... Aryan ka point tha why does Aamir Sign films with Indra Kumar....

ISHQ per-sé was produced by Gordhan Tanwani...and not Ashok Thakeria.. (Dil & Mann)

As for Beta.. it was an all out Madhuri Film ! (title is a misnomer)... Story was by K Bhagyaraaj... who was the writer/actor/director in the original Tamil version which was a blockbuster also !... (if you are wondering who he was.. zoom back to Aakhree Raasta... the director of that blockbuster film !)

Raja was a crap film ! Mann was pathetic... (come on Aamir Khan & Manisha Koirala as Cary Grant & Deborah Karr :oh: ... Sacrilege ! )

one by VS? never saw..wont like to? If any one has that..Pls. comment..

2nd..by Shemaroo..If shemaroo, used this transfer and corrected COLORS, it will LOOK GOOD, with Pseudo 5.1, LETTER BOX, cropped AR! My BEST GUESS!!
It might be PSEDUDO PROG? too

I dont think, First dvd was pirated..rana pls confirm?

and as I predicted, if shemaroo uses same transfer with color corrections, results will be much better looking dvd! and they did it! same framing!

My copy, seems like a pirate copy. No Name brand. No menu (there is some kind of menu as Arsh posted on p 1, but not easy to get the menu.
BTW, using Power DVD, a DVD author and replicator name does flash for a few sec. (Zomax). It's anamorphic. Washed out and Field Averaged print.
Shemaroo shots are definitely better.
