RAJPAL YADAV PLAYS OPPOSITE ANTARA MALI

The most recent image of Rajpal Yadav's is that of Dorji in 'The Hero', fetching Sunny Deol's wallet to help villagers. In 'Ek Aur Ek Gyarah', he helps Tara and Sitara Singh slip into a BSF officer's house. In 'Tumko Na Bhool Payenge' he hangs around Salman Khan. Later, he is noticed going the Johnny Lever's path. However, he denies that his last roles have shades of comedy. He rather reminds of his job in 'Chandani Bar', 'Jungle' and 'Company'. " I believe in doing multi-dimensional characters because that is how the real world is", he says.
Rajpal has recently acted opposite sexy girl Antara Mali in Varma Corporation's 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon'. "I'm in the right place. I don't see myself as Hrithik Roshan with Preity Zinta in Switzerland. But I want roles that have their own conflicts - drama, laughter and tears. Audiences should take something back home when they see me perform on the big screen."
A boy from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh had first role as daydreamer in Prakash Jha's TV serial 'Mungeri Ka Bhai Navrangilal'. But he entered into films when Ramgopal Varma noticed him in 'Shool'. Later he is doing Rajat Mukherjee's new thriller 'Love In Nepal', Priyadarshan's 'Hungama' and Shyam Benegal's 'Netaji'. Since he has rolling eyes and angry accents, he dreams of playing a Hitler-type character oneday. "A dictator who has all the nine rasas rolled into one temperament," he adds.
