Shabana Azmi will be portraying legendary singer Teejan Bai , in producer Mahesh Dattani´s Morning Raaga . The movie will be directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and will also feature actress Perizad Zorabian.
Though the producer denies that the movie is inspired by the singer Teejan Bai , we stick with our earlier story where we had told you about the above mentioned project.
While on Shabana Azmi , she will no longer be portraying UP chief minister Mayawati in another of her forthcoming ventures . Bahenji , as Mayawati is popularly known , does not find any resemblence between Shabana and herself and so has rejected her for the 25 cr film.
