Arsh, is LOS ANGELES driving distance for you??

Notable films worth driving 4-5 hours for a Big Screen Big Sound Presentation:

7:00pm Opening Night Gala: MR. AND MRS. IYER, directed by Aparna Sen.

Friday, April 25
12:00pm
FREAKY CHAKRA, directed by V.K. Prakash (feature)
6:00pm 3 WALLS, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor (feature) Is it TEEN DEEWAREIN??
9:00pm COMPANY, directed by Ram Gopal Varma (feature)

Saturday, April 26
7:00pm A TALE OF A NAUGHTY GIRL, directed by Buddhadeb Dasgupta (feature)
A poignant social tale, told with poetry and hope, of a young girl's overwhelming need to escape her provincial life in a society of prostitutes.

Sunday, April 27
6:30pm Closing Night Gala: PECK ON THE CHEEK, directed by Mani Ratnam.

Depending on what family life allows, April 25 looks good. Freeky Chakra, 3 hr break, Teen Deewarein and Company in one day. Or, Teen Deewarein and Company in 6 hrs. I wish this combo was in Toronto.

I recently went to Devdas premiere in Hollywood. Mr & Mrs Nene were present for Q & A. she was lookin mighty pregnant :p Sanjay was supposed to be there, but I guess he's too kewl for hollywood. didn't show up. tickets were sold out fast. stupid v-desi's filled the theater.

that guy from American Chai (Alok) was also there as a spectator. saw him at a dance club, he's one terrible singer/musician! anyone watch this film? i feel like watchin it for Paresh Rawel!

I think I will go see Ramu's Company!! I will have to take the night off from work to see this one, but i think it will be well worth it!! I haven't seen this movie yet! missed in theaters. dun wan 2 see Eros POS.

what is peck on the cheek? is it an English dub of Kannathil..or is it just Thamil version subbed in english with english title? :hmm:

BTW-I guess I'm da lucky one @ zulm. I'm half hour drive away.thats not very far considerin major traffic jams in LA. I'm not so lucky because most of those films are screened in da evenin, & I work Thursday-Monday :ffs: :fight: :baaa: :ffs: :bangbang: :bangbang:  :(
