Petitioning The owners of the film "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam"
The owners of the film "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam": To hire a DVD/Blu Ray authoring company to make a DVD & Blu-Ray with superior, sharp and vibrant video with the widescreen images and superior, true, strong and dynamic Dolby Digital 5.1 sound

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam has got horrible treatment on DVD so far. But the United States of Ameica managed to compose and excellent DVD with extra features and brilliant audio and video quality. There has been no blu-ray disc of the movie so far and we must have one made. Even its English version is far more superior than the versions here in India.

The film is colorful! Indian DVDs have added no life to the colour whereas the USA companies have given the film a warm, orangish tinge; eradicating the greenis blue tinges that do not support the movie. Some scenes, as per requires have excessive warmth in the USA versions and have added excessive coolness to some night scenes, as per required, giving the film a superior color renderation.

The Indian versions crop the original widescreen images of the film, demolishing the spectacular cinematorgraphy.

Due to the high colors and warmth, the skin tones in the USA version look normal and realistic, whereas the Indian versions have greyish tones giving an unpleasant viewing pleasure.

The sharpness in the USA version is spectacularly high, while the Indian ones highly lack sharpness, therefore, less visual details. The black colors in the USA version are deep in solid, unlike the Indian ones, which has feeble and grayish black colors.

Even the audio in the USA version is strong and has dynamic properties. But the Indian versions - one of them with feeble and soft audio, while the other one with pseudo (fake) 5.1 Dolby Digital audio, therefore, destroying our viewing pleasure.

Extra features like the making, trailers, etc. too are needed for a collectors' edition which is proudly done by the USA version and not by the Indian versions

I hope you accept our humble request and take actions as per required. We'd like you like you to replicate the USA DVD, if possible, as the original companies are now shut.
