The producers’ ultimatum to stop all deliveries to distributors from April 1, 2003 has come into effect. The producers’ associations – I.M.P.P.A., W.I.F.P.A., A.M.P.T.P.P. and Guild – had come under an umbrella and issued an ultimatum to the distributors’ organisations, failing which the producers’ associations were planning to stop all releases from April 1, 2003.
stoppage of all new releases was indefinite, which means that all forthcoming releases, including THE HERO, ANDAZ, STUMPED etc., will be postponed to a latter date.
