Screen shots look like it's the EVP DVD, released by Moserbaer as EVP is not in active business in Hindi DVDs. In EVP days (early 2000s), many DVDs from EVP, VS etc had Progressive transfers that had no sub-t that became Pseudo-Prog as sub-t were inserted (Amar Prem was one of them). This Moserbaer DVD seems to be the Pseudo-Prog version of EVP release. EVP Progressive DVD of Amar Prem was released too.

This DVD is field averaged. However, the first few seconds are apparently Pseudo Progressive.

I compared shots of this and the EVP PROG & PSEUDO PROG versions. The brightness is slightly more in the moserbaer version and it is from a worn out print.

Plus EVP versions are cropped while moserbaer is not.

But the sharpness in the EVP DVDs is lesser than Moser Baer. But 10% of quality comes with 'Progressiveness'

Moserbaer is fuzzy, as usual. But it's sharpness, to some extent, counterbalances it.

Can't really say whether moserbaer is same as the EVP pseudo PROG version.

I think the Moserbaer version has the best sharpness (Look at the glass in Rajesh Khanna's hand)
