February 18, 2003 - This past weekend has been crazy for Indiana Jones fans. Lots of "news" about the possible DVD release has come out, but today we had the chance to speak with Paramount to get to the bottom of it all.

The official response from Paramount about the box art that popped up on the 'net this weekend is that they never saw that art before the scan leaked.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there's something going on involving Indiana Jones and DVD, and you can just look at Spielberg's comments on the subject to know that they'll most likely be hitting DVD in late 2003. Also, we've received emails from sources in the retail and marketing area that also support a Holiday 2003 release of the trilogy.

As always, we'll keep you posted

Maybe you are confusing Spielberg with George Lucas, who said he would never release the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD.

The IJ films were shot with anamorphic lenses, so a misframing error like the one on BTTF isn't possible. Other errors are possible, of course.
