Hi could someone just give me a quick indication of what the quality is like of the following dvds , including whether they are likely to start skipping and stuff after a few plays: -

Gardish (sky) - Jackie Shroff

The Legend of Bhagat Singh (Tips) - Ajay Devgan

Aa Ab Laut Chalein (?) - Akshaye Khanna

Aur Pyar Ho Gaya (?) - Bobby Deol

Haseena Maan Jayegi (Eros) - Govinda

Suggestion avoid everything done by Tips, T-Series, Sky, WEG etc unless you enjoy pixelation and compression artefacts galore.

Haseena Maan Jaayegi by EROS is OK. It is Pseudo-progressive. It's not the best, but these days this is as good as Indian DVDs are presently.

Aur Pyar Ho Gya: Go for the version if it has Yellow & Black Super Digital logo on it. Dealer will try to tell you the routine crap, "they don't print Super Digital anymore but this VS version is the original". One with the Super Digital logo is progressive even though it is a Video Sound DVD. Video Sound version, without the Super Digital logo, is not progressive.
