I went to the Indian video store yesterday, and they were selling the Region 2 rental version of Monsoon Wedding. And for $30 too! I told one of the people who worked there that the disc wouldn't play on American players and that it would be in PAL as well. Has anyone else ever seen one of these Region 2 discs, such as Asoka, Salaam Bombay, etc, being sold in US stores?

I got the Bend it like Beckham from my local library and it didn't play in my player (panny RP-62). I didn't check the region or anything, but it could be a PAL disc. ???

I Have never Seen Region 2 DVDs For Sale At Any Of My Local Stores (I Am In Canada) Which Is Why Finding Them Is Hard For Me :(

(By The Way Does Anyone Know Where To By Indian Region 2 DVDs In Ontario, Canada?) :hmm:
