well i saw the premiere show of JISM in pune today.Pooja Bhatt with the starcast and crew was also present there.
the movie is interesting but caters only to the classes.the look of the movie is sleek and stylish. Both bipasha Basu and John Abraham have performed well.Gulshan Grover as Bipasha's husband is good. this movie promised to be DIFFERENT, and to some extent is. But thats it.....to some extent.Well the story is definitely different from the run of the mill stuff we are seeing these days.
Story in a line:- its a story of a woman who ,with the help of her lover(john abraham) plans to kill her husband and then later on her lover too.

well i know you all must have known the gist of the story already.but the rest of the movie, which is being called a thriller by its makers has a pretty predictable screenplay.dialogues at some places are good.
in the end all u can say is that its a watchable movie, but doesnt really stand a chance at the box office. Definitely a treat for people who are craving for new kinda stories. the movie would face tough competition from "DIL KA RISHTA" which is also releasing on 17th Jan 2003.
in the end,KUDOS to POOJA BHATT who had the uts to make such a movie for the orthodox indian audience and definitely to BIPASHA BASU who took the challenge to play a role that most of the actresses would have been too scared to play.

Rating-**1/2 out of 5
TARAN SINGH
(p.s. hey guys this is the first time i am reviewing a movie so please dont mind if i have left some crucial details that u expect in a review) :;):  :)

What about the so-called erotic scenes?

well, these so called erotic scenes are just that-"so called erotic scenes" nothing really new enough in comparision to what we have already seen in many movies before. and these scenes are only 1 or 2 and in the beginning itself(the first half an hour).so dont get your hopes up.

I want to see Jism way more than I want to see DKR. The only reason why DKR might be more successful is because of Aishwarya Rai, who is beautiful and a great actress, but too much of a big deal has been made about her in the past 4 years. It's not like she's the real life Goddess Saraswati!

Jism seems like its something very different than from commercial cinema. The music and the general mood of the film looks really good, plus Bipasha Basu has really impressed me with some of her films, so I am looking forward to it too.

The big question: How well are the songs (especially Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai) picturized?
