KAREENA GOING INTERNATIONAL?
The actress wants to work with Deepa Mehta!
It's now common knowledge that Aishwarya Rai has bagged the lead role in the forthcoming movie Bride and Prejudice (tentative title), director by British director Gurinder Chadha and based on the classic novel Pride and Prejudice. Although Kareena Kapoor was initially considered for the role, she missed out to her Bollywood rival. However that hasn't stopped her approaching other NRI female directors. After watching a recent screening of Bollywood/Hollywood, Kareena contacted Deepa Mehta and expressed her desire that they work together in the future and luckily, the director is very, very interested.
