Aamir Khan files for divorce

Film actor Aamir Khan and his wife have filed a petition for mutual divorce in family court here.
They have decided to separate because of "temperamental differences", the petion said.

Aamir and Reena, who got married on April 18, 1986, have been living apart since October 2001, it said.

According to terms settled between them, Reena alias Reena Datta will have the custody of their children, Junaid (9) and Aira (4).

However, Aamir will have access to children thrice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 pm to 8 pm. He will also have a right to meet his kids on alternate weekends every month from Friday 7 pm till Sunday 6 pm.

Aamir and Reena have decided to share Summer and Christmas vacations equally with their children. If a child spends summer vacation with one parent, he would have a choice to spend christmas with the other, it added.

I seemed to have seen a similar news item sometime ago and then it seemed to have disappeared. Looks like it was true. Indeed it is really sad. Theirs seemed to have been a really rock solid marriage....devoid of your regular affairs and stuff....

This is sad. You are right Preity Zinta is said to be blamed for this. I have heard that Preity has been after Aamir since they were on the sets of Dil Chahta Hai, I think the tabloids may be right.

Well If Rachel Shelly can be impressed by aamir, so also can other GORI's :).. Priety is no match for these Gori's.. Way to Go Aamir..... Now you can really "EXPAND" your horizon :)... Ama yaar it gets boring if you stay married to one woman for all your life and Aamir has made a rigght choice :)

Now that leaves only Shahrukh and Gowri.. I wonder when they are gonna meet the same fate :D ? Anyone wanna put some bets on that ?

Okay, as much as I'd love to jump the SRK train, a great deal of his appeal lies in his devotion to Gauri. So don't start predicting a divorce epidemic!

I'm really confused about the Preity Zinta thing. I thought she was seeing some firang from Australia??

Simran ever heard of Decoy's... Aamir Khan can pass off as a Brunette Firang :D

As for you Kamran... I am very much an optmist :) Should start some scandals with Shahrukh (Hope u Gossip Mags...pick up on this)... and Gowri and hope they end up as Free ppl.....
Kamran dont tell me you dont like this deal... Try it for "..X.." days and if you are not completely satisfied "..Y.." will refund ur costs... no questions asked.. This is a Risk Free offer... I guess Aamir has exercised that right :)
(That reminds me of Md. Azharudding only in recent times... How he divorced his beautiful wife Naureen and got hooked up with Bijlani the Sindhi Chari :D )

Mohd Azharuddin is such a disgrace he can't even show his face at events anymore. In UK a few months back he didn't show up at a ceremony honouring the greatest Indian Cricket players of all time (still living) but I don't think he'd be welcomed by the public, so it would be better if he didn't turn up.

Anyway, I heard the same that Priety Zinta is to blame and she was denying it a few weeeks back saying she's seeing someone else. I think she's feeling the heat!

I can understand that Azharuddin made a fool out of himself.. Naureen was much more photegenic than Bijlani .. But u never know How Bijlani may have trapped Poor Azharuddin ;)

As for Aamir.. Come on guys he needed a break :) Reena has now become fat and no more "attractive" (remember they have been married for 16 years now).. and its time Aamir took a break for a much younger gal and Priety Zinta actually did "Fit" in the picture :D
