Many people don't know about the advantages of anamorphic, progressive, etc, so I think it would be a good idea to have a list of links explaining these terms, along with other technical aspects of video, such as noise reduction and 2:3 pulldown. Everyone please contribute to this. Ali, could you make this a sticky thread?
