Indian Oscar submission "Devdas," an epic love story about the trials two lovers are faced with because of the constraints of their opposing positions within the Indian social class system and are eventually torn apart. This film is to open the series on Jan. 12 with the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Aishwarya Rai scheduled to attend.
