DVD collector, Antra Mali made her debut in Mast if i am not mistaken which is 2 years old. she also starred with Akshay Kumar in Khiladi420. i dont think she would qualify for best newcomer.

Although it may seem I'm completely biased in favor of DEVDAS, this is not actually the case. I'll be the first to admit it's a flawed film, but it truly blows away everything else released this year. I was underwhelmed by COMPANY and HUMRAAZ, even though they are on my top ten. A horrible year for films, compared to the terrific last year we had. I love DEVDAS, but I don't think it deserves ALL of the awards up there. A winner by default, I guess. After two perfect films last year (ZUBEIDAA and LAGAAN), the films here are terribly underwhelming. Oh well...
