I know some people are trying to throw stones at Ayngaran but I have to accept, it is one company I like for their quality DVD presentations compared to most of other Co's.

Now, I have noticed on two of recent Ayngaran dvds some very annoying problems:
Varnajaalam: Voice syn after the first hour is out of place. And it is very distracting while watching the movie. And the picture is VERY GRAINY (but I can accept that up to a certain point as the movie was quite good)
JOOT: Voice syn pbl after the first hour (why again???!!!) AND IT IS REALLY DISTRACTING.

I bought a new release I haven't watched yet, THENDRAL, hope it is fixed on this one.

Sunny, question to you: Why is Ayngaran authoring such dvds now? Have they let down on quality control?
Have any of the others experienced the same problems or is it just my dvds?

Other tamil dvds released by Ayngaran this year also suffers from audio sync problems. I haven't encountred any problems on AUTOGRAPH other than the grain that shows up during bright scenes.

I am pretty sure it was the DTS track on both films as I always tend to go for the DTS one. It is about an hour into the film and I think it is even mor enoticeable further towards the last 30 minutes (If the film was 4 hours long then I guess we would have had at least 3 seconds difference between sound and pic towards the end!!!)

I hope this will help Ayngaran improve their future editions. I have noticed they have improved all their dvds on PQ since the Winner-Manasellam-Alai-... debacle of a few months ago.
And would they re-release these dvds by any chance, the PQ lacking and the Voice sync problematic dvds?

If there are synch problems then send the DVD back to the retailer. This is a way to voice ur concerns... I'm sure ayngaran will fixed this problem if the retailers complain.
