GVI released the same Video Sound DVD in a different cover for the UK/Euro market. Other than that there's no other official DVD of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein out.

I have been recently watching Zee tv's Thursday Premiers showing new Hindi movies and I am very impressed by the quality of the print...e.g the legend of Bhagat Singh and Mujh Se Dosti Karoge... I am waiting to watch Road which is coming soon... :)

I liked Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, though most people I know didn't like it due to the lead actor R Madhavan. Anyway, the DVD from Video Sound was no good and as far as I know there are no alternate versions available. You're much better off recording it from Zee TV it will be far better than the DVD. Two days back they showed Muhje Kuch Kehna Hai which was far better than the Video Sound DVD as a few weeks back they Showed Gadar - again far better than the DVD version! These 'TV versions' are the best quality you are likely to get.

By the way, for those in UK, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein will be shown on Zee TV on Sat Dec 21st at 20:30pm. That's advance notice, so don't waste your money on the DVD!

The film was shown yesterday on Zee USA. yeah the print quality was pretty nice...... having not seen the film before, i quite liked the movie... it was watchable and madhavan wasnt bad either..... I agree with mr khiladi this is prolly the best version we will get..... i doubt there being any alternate versions......

I know some years earlier they used to make Beta(pardon the ignorance of technology but were they referring to Betamax here?) tapes of anything that needed to be broadcast (had a brush with some ad agencies and they were in the habit of converting 16mm/35mm film to Beta as they called it).

Which is why the quality of whatever was aired on TV used to be MUCH better than the VHS copies of similar stuff....I wonder what format do they insist on before it is broadcast now?

And as someone else said before....these copies will be the best available.......if only one can lay their hands on such copies....

Why not just buy the original tamil version 'minnale', the picture and sound dvd quality is quite good, and the screenplay is much better then the Hindi version. Comes with English subs.

I have the Video Sound version as well. It's a shame this movie didn't all that great at the box office. I really, really enjoyed it, particulary for Madhavan's acting. He's probably the most natural actor to come out in a long time, and puts to shame any of the new lot of actors out today. Hopefully, they'll churn out a better dvd for this release. I do still plan on checking out 'Minnale'. Also, any word on when the 'Run' dvd will be coming out??
