Theon,

The webmaster at Bollywhat.com posted something about the indian movie posters site the other day. She ordered from them and got her posters. Here's the link to her comments.

If you do order, let me know what you get! I'm so tempted...

simran, thanks a lot for the link. i emailed the people at indianmovieposters.com and they told me it'll cost me $75 US for each poster!:ffs: i'm still hoping against hope that they sell posters (and have one i like) at this place in scarborough. i'm referring to a little place inside (next to?)woodside cinemas. does anyone know if woodside sells posters (or ever did)?

Good luck. I e-mailed Eros a while back because they're obviously trying to get more people to buy DVDs from them as a way to control piracy. (Observe this 99 cent business!) I suggested that an excellent way for them to get people to buy DVDs straight from them would be to include a bonus poster or two with each shipment, since a lot of people really enjoy that stuff (and as you've mentioned, posters are so hard to find) and I know that otherwise when the theaters return the posters, they're shredded.

They totally ignored me, which I found a little unusual, since everyone on this site seems to get responses. Oh well. I thought it was a good idea.

Woodside Cinema's sometimes give away posters for free(depending on if the films image dies out) and you just have to ask them. I got nice posters of K3G, Asoka, & LOBS from them for free. And by the way, where around Woodside Cinema does one sell Indian Movie posters? I never knew about this?
