No the DVD for Monsoon Wedding has not been released and my guess is it won't be released for a while. Also due to the elaborate security measures taken to prevent piracy of Monsoon Wedding, it is not available on any video format, original or pirated. This is atleast as far as I know. By the way I happen to know very closely the person responsible for preventing piracy of Monsoon Wedding.

PS: If anyone does come accross a video copy of Monsson Wedding, in any format. Please post the info here or PM me.

Here's rather a more interesting trailer with much better picture quality than the first one.

Am I right in thinking that Monsoon Wedding is only being released in London today, and the rest of UK on 18th Jan?

Just to add Monsoon Wedding is being distributed by FilmFour in the UK - and if they do the DVD too, we'll get an excellent r2 PAL DVD of the film. Previous FilmFour (with VCI) DVDs like Brother have been really good.

Just went to the local DVD store, and the pirated Monsoon Wedding DVD is avaliable! I didn't bother renting it yet, because i wouldn't have time to watch the film until the next few days.
