Hello all -

I am a complete dunce at Digital Cameras, I only know that I want one! My budget for myself this Christmas and New Years for a camera is strictly only on and below $200 - as I have to give other people gifts too!

I do know all that about pixels and resolution. I am mainly looking for a camera to take good pics - some to print out, they dont have to be of superb quality though - but mostly to store online, share with family, etc.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get one? Which model, and why? Thanks!! And if you do have a digi camera, please share details!

.. in the states you probably get a much wider choice but Fuji FinePix range comes highly recommended from many DC magazines her in the UK.

I just bought Canon S200 (2 MP). It has been reduced in price now as the newer one S230 (3MP) just came out. Got a great deal on Ebay from Henry in Toronto. It has a different name in Europe.

Excellent camera. Really small so you can carry it anywher.
