I like the sounds of that list. I always thought I was really the only one to like Dev Anand (most of my friend hated him). Nice compliation.

how is dev anand a good actor?
what movies would you recommend of his?
whatever i have seen, i did not like him.
sure songs are good, even stories are good, but his acting, nope!
i would compare him with salman khan! :O

well i have seen:
the gambler
heera panna
hare krishna hare rama (i think that's the name)

he failed to create any impact as the character he was playing
just my opinion

Sorry to say but you have watched only his poorer films. Also, don't you think it is unfair for you to pass judgement on someone whose carrier has spanned almost 60 years and over a hundred films, by just watching three films. By the way, Dev Anand films post '70s period are highly avoidable, specially the ones directed by himself. He is most certainly a poor director. On the other hand some of his older films from his younger days when he was in his prime, are truly a part of Indian film classics.

Some of the finest actors in lead roles are/were:
1. Amitabh B.
2. Shah Ruk Khan
3. Raj Kapoor
4. Amir Khan
5. Sanjeev Kumar

* no particular order. There are other actors that i can think who are better than the ones listed...but unfortunately they never made it to lead roles.

On another note, I personally find Dev Anand irritating, not to say that he isn't a good actor. Its the way he delivers his performence and his style....if u get the drift.
