Shamita: Dancing her way
Looks like the item number Shamita Shetty did in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai starring Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill and Bipasha Basu in the lead, has done Shetty babe a world of good. For starters she has just been roped in to do a special number in Shaad Ali's Saathiya that Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee in the lead. The number that goes as Chori Chori was to be shot with ex-veejay Maria Goretti. But it is now Shamita Shetty who will prance to the naughty number. According to the debutant director, the song is related to the story of the film. It is not an item number like Ishq kameena was. It is an integral part of the plot. Shaad Ali has no intentions to make the song public by airing it on the promos every second minute as it'll lose its charm.
