NOTE: SCREEN SHOTS BELOW

Here's what I ordered:

1) combo dvd of Raaz/Kasoor
2) combo dvd of Mujse Dosti Karogi/Na Tum Jano Na Hum
3) Meri yaar ki shadi hai

Preliminary results, I found the combo dvds to be surprisingly okay. Pic quality was somewhere between a good divx rip and average dvd quality. Sound seemed fine, but i couldn't tell you if it was true 5.1 or not (only have stereo speakers and headphones). The menus look authentic (animated, etc). MYKSH had the special features and all, so it was either truly an original disc, or an exact duplicate. Basically the 2-n-1 don't appear to be pure pirate prints; they seem to be exact copies of the original discs, just placed on one disc. Oh, and on a minor note, the combo dvds came in a thin cardboard fold-out container with outer sleeve cover. The discs inside were in plastic wrap. As for MYKSH, standard dvd box, but no inlay card, or anything inside, just the disc, which was loose and not sitting on its spindle. No real damage that i could see, save for some dust perhaps.

i m new member of zulm.net and i have gone thru all the topics releated to the pakwebstore.com and cdstore.com.pk .

the idea of 2in1 dvd's sounds very interesting that why i m willing to order some 2in1's but i m still confused about the quality and sound . well urbanlegend posts shows that he is satisfied but plz if you can upload the sccreenshots of the MSDKG/NTJNH . :sus:

Hi..

Just got done watching myksh... was entertaining.. Masiha, i would love to post some screen shots... just need to speak to Ali about getting them on here, if he is willing. :) i'm sure we need to coordinate a time for this... i'm in the west indies which is 4 or 5 hours behind greenwich... so whenever that can be arranged, i'll post some shots.

As to your interest in ordering... if i were you, i would wait until maybe this whole ccnow survey, or investigation, or whatever with regards to pakwebstore is concluded... you don't want to pluck down money only to find out the company has been shut down, right? i can tell you that ordering from them was easy enough... you pick your dvds, do the online credit card thing through ccnow, and your order gets there in 2 weeks... that's how long it took for me.. it's actually the fastest i ever got dvds sent here to the caribbean. plus, their staff (well, i talked to Wali Khan, who i assume is probably the manager or similar title) replies within a day, so that is a plus. it took about 3-4 days between the time i placed an order and when it was shipped... well, i told you extra info than you wanted, but hopefully that helps! :cool:

That means pakwebsore.com has got a good customer service too .
well dont worry i would wait until maybe this whole ccnow survey, or investigation, or whatever with regards to pakwebstore is concluded . b/c i m so excited after checking thier combos collection . i m in USA . well i have also send an email to pakwebsore.com and also waiting fro their reply . :)

let see what Mr. Wali khan reply in his email . i have asked him some question about these combos .

All right everybody, I uploaded pics to Ali from the Mujse Dosti Karogi/Na Tum Jano Na Hum two-in-one dvd. I also sent pics of the menus, so you can see that it appears to be the original dvds duplicated and combined one disc (and one side!!).. it's amazing that they could fit about 6 hours of video like that.

Urbanlegend posted a few pics of the Raaz/Kasoor combo in an earlier thread, and I believe he only got a few from Kasoor, because of his dvd player woes. I can get some pics from this one as well, if you all would like. Let me know.. as for meri yaar ki shaadi hai, it seems to be an exact duplicate of the yashraj release, because it also has the special features, and animated menus.

One thing i forgot to mention about the MDK/NTJNH combo dvd, the subtitles indeed are removable. Sound quality seemed fine on the combo dvds, as well as on MYKSH.

Thanks Ali for posting... hope everyone gets a clear picture (no pun) of the quality of the combo dvd. The still pics look slightly better than the actual moving film... as I said earlier, when watching the movie, the pic quality is somewhere between a good divx rip and an average dvd. Any other questions or comments, feel free to express yourself. :)

Well, I was pleased enough with my experience at pakweb, so I made another order. I chose another 2-in-1 dvd for Pyasa/Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai. 13.99 shipped. Will discuss it when it arrives within a couple weeks or so. It's done by vision dvd, the same one who did the other 2-in-1's that i got previously.

well its good to hear from you chebji that you have placed one more order .
well i ordered special offer # 3 ( buy 7 DVD get 4 free ) i-e 11 DVD's for 99.99 $ .i askede pakwebsotre.com that is there any way to ship these dvd's fast . so they offered me shipping thru DHL . They charged me 10 $ extra for it means 11 DVD's for 110 bucks which i think is not a bad deal . 22 movies for just 110 bucks means one movie for just 5 bucks .

If they could offer dhl as their normal shipping method (i.e. their free method), that would be totally awesome. Hell, I wish every store would offer free courier shipping. :)

By the way, Masiha, DVD girl says the devdas print she got from pakweb was terrible. I hope your 2-in-1 at the very least contains the original eros print. Are all those specials done by vision dvd? if so, then the quality should be akin to the originals of those movies, with perhaps slightly more compression... especially k3g/mohabbatein!! That's almost 7 hours on one side of the disc! Damn!
