BOMBAY DREAMS NOMINATED FOR AWARD!
A.R. Rahman fights for Best Musical award!

A.R. Rahman's musical 'Bombay Dreams' has been nominated for a prestigious Evening Standard Threatre Award.

The Bollywood inspired production, which is being shown to packed audiences in London, is competing for the Best Musical category.

It faces stiff competition from 'The Full Monty' (based on the hit film) and the acclaimed 'My One and Only'. The awards will take place on November 25 and will be broadcast by Carlton in the UK on November 28.

Well done to Rahman, he is finally getting the recognition he so much deserved :)

But I think Bombay Dreams might not win it as I found the actually play (Meera Sayal) and lyrics (Don Black) to be somewhat poor. It was only the music (Rahman) that gave the show the much deserved applauses.

Yeah, congrats to Rahman! On the nomination and also being recognized as one of the ten highest British earners for last year.
