Hello all -
I haven't yet bought the 'Devdas' DVD due to all the negative reviews, but looks like its no better than the pirate. In any case, I wanted to jot down my list of the top 10 Indian films currently available/ever released on DVD :
1. Lagaan (Columbia/R1 Release)
2. Asoka (R2 Release)
3. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (DEI/2 Disc/All Regions)
4. Umrao Jaan (DEI/Single Disc)
5. Dil Se (DEI/Single Disc)
6. Fiza (Spark)
7. Kandukondain Kandukondain (Ayngaran/All Regions)
8. Mission Kashmir (Columbia/R1 Release)
9. Kannathil Muthamittal (Ayngaran/All Regions)
10. Khoobsurat (DEI/Single Disc)
The above list is based on the DVDs I actually own and the ones I've rented. There may be some obvious mistakes (I mean, no one I know would place 'Khoobsurat' in the Top 10) but I'm going strictly for picture and audio clarity.
