Bollywood has heaved a sigh of relief after several months of depression in the market. But the last quarter of the year seems to be full of hopes.
Industry pundits say that the next few months will witness dozens of good movies.
Deepawali, which falls on Nov 4th, will be celebrated as usual by the film world. This year will screen many blockbusters too. The industry hopes that about 30 films will be released in December and January. The next month will open with Vashu Bhagnani's 'Jeena Sirf Mere Liye' starring Kareena and Tushaar Kapoor on November 1. Then will follow the much hyped and long awaited Mahesh Manjrekar's multistarrer 'Kaante'.
The auspicious day for the release of 'Kaante' has been declared to be December 6.
Sunil Darshan's 'Talaash' starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena and 'Rishtey' with Anil Kapoor and Karisma, will follow 'Kaante', besides some relatively small movies.
Later, Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee starrer 'Saathiya' will be screened on December 20. Anubhav Sinha's 'Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai', Jackie Shroff and Raveena Tandon starrer 'Saandhya', Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Teen Deewarein', and Anurag Kashyap's 'Paanch' will all be available to the movie watchers before the year 2002 sets.
