Just heard on CBC radio.
Will confirm the details later about where and at what time.

I think they said Sun Oct 20 at 7 PM at Museaum of Civilization (or could be nature). If it's M O Civ., perhaps it will be I-max screen.

Deepa Mehta will be present and field questions. I didn't hear anything about other stars (Lisa Ray??).

Ticket is $12. All proceeds go to charity.

The movie starts regular showings from Fri Oct 25 at Bytown. Note: Bytown doesn't have either DD or DTS.

Got confirmation.
It's at the Museaum of Civilization, Oct 20 at 7 PM. Theatre is not the I-Max but the other one. Capacity is about 500. Tickets are not available at the Museaum and are avail by phone only @ 562-1243.

I never encountered a House Full in Ottawa and hence didn't feel the need to buy the tickets in advance (couldn't get the phone across, whenever tried). When I got there at 6:30, it was mayham, wait list line up was about 100 for some 20 0r so reserved seats still to be claimed. Looks like they turned back about 500 for a theatre with a capacity of 500.

Did anyone see the film, here or elsewhere?? How is it?? It will be running in regular shows from Fri.
